So many fond memories of happier times spent in Cork and then Leconfield including some special times spent in Beverley and the fun lovely uncle who meant so much to us all. All our love to you both, Bernadette, Andy, Roisin, Rob and Adam x

Alan was an outstanding Professor of Education at University College Cork during my time as a student teacher there when I undertook the Higher Diploma in Education. He supervised my teaching practice and I will never forget how kind and helpful he was to me as I began me career in teaching. He always inspired great confidence in his students. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
